Acceptable Use Policy

Use the service for your own lawful traffic, through your own Provider credentials, in a way that does not harm other customers, the service, or anyone else. Everything below is that sentence made specific.

• Route any lawful workload through the Hosted Gateway, in shadow or live mode.
• Measure the service on your own traffic for your own purposes.
• Reproduce the published benchmark figures from the public proof endpoint, and say so.
• Connect as many keys, tenants and nodes as your account allows.

• Use the service to break the law, or to break the terms of the Provider your requests go to.
• Send traffic under credentials that are not yours to use.
• Attempt to derive, extract, probe or reconstruct the Engine's methods, thresholds or models, whether by request patterns, timing, or any other means. The published figures are the outcome; the mechanism is not offered.
• Interfere with the service: denial-of-service, abuse of the keyless proof endpoint beyond reasonable reproduction, circumvention of quotas or rate limits, or access to another customer's account or data.
• Use the service to build, train or benchmark a competing service.
• Publish comparative benchmarks of the service without written consent (see the Customer Agreement).
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without a written agreement with us.

We may rate-limit, move to shadow mode, suspend or, for serious or repeated breaches, close an account. We tell you what we did and why, except where doing so would frustrate a security investigation or is prohibited by law. Fees already measured remain payable.

If you believe the service is being misused, or you find a security weakness, tell the notices address on this page. Good-faith security research against your own account is welcome; against other customers' accounts it is not.
